2 cards a week - for the rest of your life

Make sure the card says "Thank You" on the front.

Sincere: mean what you say
Specific: tell them exactly what you are thanking them for
Succinct: keep your thoughts direct and your handwriting legible
Summarize: include your address and email

We don't accomplish anything in this world alone ... and whatever happens is the result of the whole tapestry of one's life and all the weavings of individual threads from one to another that creates something.
-Sandra Day O'Connor, former U.S. Supreme Court Justice

I attended your Silo meeting at the end of March..I thought the Thank you card was a great idea..I am someone who does like to thank people..but the formal card was great. Since then I have sent out about 60-70.Recently when in England visiting universities with my son..I was asked about this idea. Why? Because I had sent one of my university contacts..a thank you card..she had done a great job for my son and I. She thought the idea was great and said she was going to start sending out cards...So your idea has hopped over the pond...to be used by a student recruiter at a very prestigious university...Good for you!
